This workbook is a fantastic resource for parents looking to help their children navigate big emotions through the lens of faith. It strikes a perfect balance between being interactive and deeply meaningful.
What makes this book stand out is how it pairs relatable "feelings" with specific Bible verses. It doesn't just tell kids how to feel; it shows them what God says about those feelings. The doodling prompts are a brilliant touch—they allow children to express themselves creatively, which is often much easier for them than trying to find the right words.
The "Parent-Child Conversation" sections are perhaps the most valuable part. They provide a gentle, guided way to open up a dialogue about things that can sometimes be tough to discuss. It’s been a wonderful way to bond while building a solid spiritual foundation.
The layout is clean, the prompts are engaging, and the overall message is incredibly encouraging. If you want to help your child grow in both emotional intelligence and their walk with God, I cannot recommend this series enough!
